Important Note

Registration with PSEB is mandatory for every call center to legally operate in Pakistan.

Call Center Registration Procedure

To register/renew your registration with PSEB as a call center, please follow a simple three-step process:

1. Fill the online registration form and submit for approval.

2. Upon approval, enclose PO/DD with approved form (printed signed and stamped), along with all required documents.

3. Send to any PSEB office located in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Peshawar and Abbottabad.

ANNUAL FEE STRUCTURE

Call Center registration certificate issued by PSEB is location specific and is valid only for the location for which it is issued. Separate certificate shall be required for each branch/additional/alternate location.

Annual Registration/Renewal Fee for call centers is Rs. 15,000/- for its Principal/Main Office and Rs. 5,000/- for each branch (if any)

Call Center with expired registration will be charged a surcharge of Rs. 10,000/-

All payments must be in shape of Demand Draft/Pay Order in favor of Pakistan Software Export Board.

  • Registration form completed in all aspects (forms with missing mandatory information will be rejected)
  • Brief business profile on the company letterhead/printed and/or corporate brochure
  • Registration charges
  • Visiting Cards of key personnel (Optional)
  • Business NTN
  • CNIC of all Directors/Shareholders/Partners
  • Passport copy of Directors/Shareholders/Partners (for foreign nationals only)
  • Attested copy of Memorandum and Articles of Association including copy of incorporation certificate (for SECP registered companies only)
  • Copy of registration with State Bank of Pakistan (for international call centers only)
  • Attested copy of Partnership deed (for Partnership based firms)
  • Attested copy of Firm registration certificate
  • Business Bank Statement of the preceding six months

Business Bank Account Letter/Certificate (In case of new account)

To track remittances of IT Industry, submit copies of last year R-forms/PRCs

(Only R-forms/PRCs with SBP codes allocated for recording IT/ITeS exports shall be acceptable, renewal request of call centers using any other code may be declined. International call centers showing nil remittance may not be entertained).

R-Forms will also be used by PSEB to give awards to top IT exporters during preceding year

To track exports and domestic earnings of IT industry, submit copy of audited accounts report and/or income tax returns for preceding year

Once the completed application along with the required documents is received and accepted for processing, it usually takes about 5-10 working days to process and issue the provisional letter/registration certificate subject to completion of documents.

Before formal operationalization, provisional call center registration will initially be granted by PSEB with the validity of 60 days, and can be extended upon formal written request (within expiry of provisional period) for maximum of up to 60 days only.

A physical verification visit of operational call center would be planned on request and after successful verification; a registration certificate will be issued. The verification procedure is repeated at the time of renewal or any time deemed necessary

Visitor Timing for New & Renewal of PSEB registration is 9:00 am to 2:00 pm (Monday – Friday)
