PSEB Registration

IT and IT-enabled Services (ITeS) companies operating in Pakistan must register with PSEB in order to avail the following benefits and future incentives:

Benefits of PSEB Registration:

  1. Tax exemption on exports of IT services (currently till 2016 but expected to be extended further)
  2. Repatriation of profits (currently 100% repatriation of profits is permissible)
  3. Voice traffic legalized for PSEB registered call centers
  4. Credibility with foreign customers and investors in the international market
  5. Subsidized participation in International exhibitions and roadshows
  6. Subsidized participation in local exhibitions attended by foreign customers and investors
  7. Marketing of IT industry through PSEB sponsored IT portal
  8. Subsidized International company certifications such as CMMI and ISO
  9. Subsidized professional trainings for the management and technical staff of IT companies
  10. Fully paid Internships of ICT graduates in the IT industry (more than half have been are hired by the IT industry)
  11. Incubation Program for IT entrepreneurs/startups
  12. Inbound and outbound visa facilitation of customers, investors, and company employees

Please note that any call center not registered with PSEB will be considered to be operating illegally and will be subject to legal proceedings by the PTA and FIA. In the event that your call center is operational, renewal of your registration with PSEB is mandatory in order to ensure that your call center continues to function as a legitimate business. Non-compliance will be reported to PTA for further action.
