Company Certification

As the global IT and IT-enabled Services (IT/ITeS) industry matures, quality certifications are becoming increasingly critical to the success of products and services in the marketplace. It is in this context that PSEB has developed various incentives and programs to assist IT/ITeS companies in Pakistan. These programs have helped to develop a set of replicable, documented processes that resulted in higher quality, reduced duplication of efforts, and significant productivity gains.

In addition to tangible benefits, such as higher revenue and growth, certified companies also looked forward to enjoying intangible benefits, such as improved customer confidence, greater employee satisfaction and an increase in shareholder value.

These programs aimed to provide technical and financial assistance to:

• 110 IT companies in achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification.
• 25 IT companies in achieving various levels of CMMI.
• 12 IT companies in achieving ISO 27001 certification.
