| Private sector urged to promote IT |

Karachi (PPI) - Advisor to Sindh Chief Minister for Information Technology, Nauman Saigal, has urged the private IT sector to come forward and play its due role for the promotion of Information Technology, and to end joblessness in the province.
He was addressing a delegation of NetSol Technologies, led by its Chairman, Salim Ghauri, which called on him at his office on Monday.
He said that the Sindh government will provide land in the Internet Media City to those who are interested in promoting the IT industry. He invited the private sector to work in diverse fields, such as land record, telemedicine, computerization of the Excise and Taxation department, the environmental department and cyber games. He assured the delegation of the government’s cooperation in this regard.
