PSEB facilitates the Pakistani IT/ITeS Industry by providing networking opportunities to the business and entrepreneurial community. Such networking opportunities include PSEB-sponsored participation of the IT companies in national and international events, road shows and investment seminars. Inauguration of fully operational and most sophisticated Information Technology Park Shaheen Complex, Lahore

In dedication to the vision of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Butto the First Woman Prime Minister of the Islamic World the President of Pakistan inaugurated the fully operational and most sophisticated Information Technology Park Shaheen Complex Lahore on January 16, 2010 in Governor House Lahore.

PSEB participated in CONNECT IT from 5th to 7th May 2009 at the Karachi Expo Centre and subsidized the participation of eleven member IT companies. CONNECT IT was inaugurated by Mr. Muhammad Raza Haroon, Minister for Information Technology, Government of Sindh.
GITEX Dubai 2008
Date: 19th – 23rd October 2008
PSEB participated in GITEX Dubai 2008 along with eleven member companies from 19-23 October, 2008. PSEB set up a Pakistan pavilion which was totally customized to highlight Pakistani IT industry’s skills and emerging potential. Dr. Saeed Khan Mohmand, Consul General for Consulate General of Pakistan inaugurated the PSEB Pavilion. The event was a huge success as Pakistani IT companies got the chance to interact with key decision makers of Austrade, Dubai Export Development Corporation, Dubai Internet City and made inroads with leading international IT companies from India and Sri Lanka.
ITCN ASIA 2008
Date: 11th – 13th August, 2008
ITCN ASIA, Pakistan’s premier IT and Telecom event was organized for the eighth year at Karachi Expo Center from 11th – 13th August, 2008. This year, PSEB sponsored the participation of 13 member companies for the event. Being the strategic partner, Pakistan Software Export Board co-organized various International Conferences on IT Outsourcing, Information Security, E-banking, Call Centers and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) at the ITCN ASIA extravaganza.

CeBIT Hannover Exhibition and Networking Events
Date: 4th – 9th March, 2008
PSEB established a customized country pavilion for the participating member companies that have been jointly selected by PASHA and PSEB. One to one business meetings were also arranged with the leading IT companies based in Europe during the exhibition. The exhibiting companies expect to acquire significant business from contacts made during the exhibition which included meetings with leading IT executives, entrepreneurs and other industry executives in Europe.
GITEX Dubai
Date: 8th – 12th September, 2007
PSEB created a customized pavilion at GITEX in Dubai from 8 to 12 September. Ten member companies participated and reported significant lead generation. A networking event was organized with the Pakistan IT Forum of Dubai with leading businessmen, local IT companies and Government officials in attendance.
Single Country Exhibition in Kenya
Date: 31st August – 2nd September, 2007
PSEB participated in a single country exhibition in Kenya that was organized by TDAP (Trade Development Authority of Pakistan from 31st August – 2nd September, 2007. Kenya is part of the “Anglo-sphere” of English Speaking countries that represent a lower barrier to entry that PSEB targets. An MOU is being discussed with the Communications Commission of Kenya in order to foster trade with this middle income country with vast potential.
PSEB CEO Forum
Date: 10th August, 2007
PSEB held the inaugural CEO Forum on 10th of August 2007, in Karachi during ITCN Asia. An unprecedented lineup of global corporate leaders, investors and authors addressed this pioneering event on the theme “Corporate Success in the Knowledge Economy.” Despite record rainfall which deluged the city and caused city-wide power outages, rave reviews were received from speakers, attendees, sponsors and media. Speakers and sponsors also met with the Prime Minister later in the evening.
ITCN ASIA
Date: 9th – 11th August, 2007
Pakistan’s Premier Annual IT and Telecom Show “ITCN ASIA 2007” was held at Karachi Expo Center from 9th -11th August, 2007. Twenty member IT companies participated along with PSEB.
EXPO PAKISTAN
Date: March 29th – April 1st, 2007
PSEB sponsored the attendance of ten member companies in “EXPO PAKISTAN” from March 29th - April 1st, 2007. PSEB constructed an attractive, eye-catching pavilion at the exhibition. The event provided an opportunity to our member companies to expand their business and customer base, both locally and internationally.
Global Sales Strategy by Mr. Ken Morse
Date: 16th – 17th March, 2007
PSEB sponsored and helped organize a seminar on 16th -17th March on “Global Sales Strategy” by Mr. Ken Morse, Managing Director of the MIT Institute of Entrepreneurship and Senior Lecturer in the Sloan School of Management, MIT. Over 50 IT industry executives attended this world class workshop which is expected to hone global sales skills.
Gitex Saudi Arabia
Date: 15th – 19th April, 2007
PSEB sponsored the attendance of eight member companies in Gitex Saudi Arabia 2007. Following new practice a country pavilion was set up which attracted a large number of exhibition attendees. AZM Computer services were able to sign an MOU with CWorks Systems Berhad Malaysia at the spot.
Overseas Pakistanis Investment Conference and Exhibition
Date: 5th – 6th March 2007
PSEB organized the ICT panel in the “Overseas Pakistanis Investment Conference and Exhibition”, on 6th March 2007. This lively session was well attended by over hundred expatriates and telecom and IT industry leaders. A stall was also set up in the exhibition which attracted over eighty expatriates.
MEFTEC Bahrain
Date: 12th -13th February, 2007
PSEB participated in “MEFTEC Bahrain” during 12th -13th February, 2007 in Bahrain along with seven member companies. TPS, ZRG, Sidat Hyder Murshid, and Mixit Technologies. The event was successful as companies reported significant interest, visits and leads.
