Mr. Sulman Hassan, Director International Marketing PSEB represented Pakistan in 3rd Asia Source Conference, which was held on 6th to 13th November, 2009 in Philippines.

Microsoft Pakistan recently held a joint business launch to introduce a range of products that included Windows 7, Windows Server 2008 R2 and Microsoft Exchange Server. PSEB sponsored the launching ceremony. The ceremony was held in Karachi and attended by the prominent ICT professionals from all over Pakistan.

In the current fiscal year, 1650 interns have been placed under PSEB Internships Phase-III project.
 

  Company Capability Development
 

Quality   Assurance Institute (QA) has successfully recommended Esolpk Pvt Ltd for CMMi Level II with the collaboration of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB).
 

  Facilitation
 

Twenty-one new IT companies were registered with PSEB during this reporting period with thirteen new call centres. Forty-one IT companies and sixteen call centres have renewed their registration.

OSRC latest article, entitled "Open Source to the rescue", has been published in Spider magazine's print edition (November 2009).
