Pakistan based contact center, Ensign Communiqué won eight international awards in Australia

Ensign Communiqué (Pvt.) Ltd., a Shaheen Foundation Company, won eight awards at the prestigious Annual Contact Center World Awards 2008 held in Sydney, Australia. The awards are held every year to recognize outstanding performance and exceptional service in the Contact Center Industry Worldwide across three main regions – Americas, EMEA and Asia Pacific.

Ensign Communiqué is the only Pakistan based contact center to reach the list of finalists which included companies like Shell, Siemens, HP, Dell, Standard Chartered Bank, Bell and Vodafone, to name a few. CureMD unveiled Rheumatology EMR solution in USA

CureMD, a leading EMR/PM solution provider based in Lahore with offices in the US, launched the CureMD Rheumatology EMR application. The launch ceremony was held at the New York State Rheumatology Society Annual Meeting in New York City. The interactive event invited leading rheumatologists for a live hands-on demonstration of the new system. The Lahore-based CureMD team demonstrated the system’s functionalities and its innovative abilities that address the unique requirements of rheumatologists at a global level.

CureMD’s template driven clinical notes module for Rheumatologists was the highlight of the event. An interesting feature allowed doctors to instantly document musculoskeletal exam and automatically calculated Joint/Point counts. On-the-fly work flow customizations and built in decision support was rated amongst the top features of the new solution.

“This overwhelming response reinforces our focus in the right direction. Our aim in finding new ways to improve and simplify our technology is reflected across our application, implementation and training process resulting in the development of a true glove-fit model for doctor’s needs in all specialties that we support” stated Eddie Malik, a CureMD spokesman. PFC Energy Kazakhstan signed LMKR to provide world-class technical trainings

LMKR has signed a memorandum of understanding with PFC Energy as part of the Caspian Energy Hub (CEH) initiative. The MOU entails world-class technical training programs and the operation of two state of the art geophysical data interpretation and visualization facilities at the Technical and Services Center (TSC). This initiative will further enhance Kazakhstan’s utilization of its oil and gas reserves.
LMKR from the CEH platform will be working with the Government of Kazakhstan to offer comprehensive training services and design curriculums that will be open to all professionals and students supporting the Country’s petroleum sector. Training programs will be focused towards a range of roles from vocational specialists to technical professionals. Curriculums and courses will be designed by LMKR’s training specialists and eventually conducted by qualified local instructors. AllVoices launched to merge traditional, citizen and new media

New web site brings news contributors from all over the world together in an unedited and interactive environment to share stories, blogs, videos and images

AllVoices, a new citizen media start-up, introduced an open global community where anyone can report and share news from anywhere in the world. The web site gives the diverse community a chance to share and discuss news, videos, images and opinions tied to events and people. It is the first community to weave together traditional news, blogs, online resources and anyone who wants to share their voice.

Since its beta release in April 2007, AllVoices has built a rapidly growing community of individuals voicing multiple perspectives on important news and issues facing people today.

BrightSpyre applauded by World Economic Forum & CSF

BrightSpyre contribution on Executive Opinion Survey 2008 has been greatly appreciated by World economic forum (WEF), Ministry of Finance, Government of Pakistan & Competitive Support Fund (CSF). BrightSpyre has coordinated with CSF involving students in carrying out the Executive Opinion Survey (EOS) 2008 in Pakistan for the Global Competitiveness Report 2008-2009. The Global Competitiveness Report has been the World Economic Forum's publication since 1979 and is widely renowned as the world's leading cross-country comparator of factors affecting economic competitiveness and growth and this survey coverage has expanded each year, now extending to 131 countries.

This year students from leading institutes were involved in carrying out this project as they contacted more than 200 CEO’s of top level companies from all over Pakistan. BrightSpyre was drawn in coordination with Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, Iqra University Karachi, Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) and University of Management & Technology Lahore. Lahore Chamber of Commerce (LCCI) was also involved in helping students in carrying out EOS 2008. During the project, BrightSpyre also gave trainings and guidelines to students about the importance of surveys and strategies of communicating with employers.

Aim of this project was to provide university students an opportunity and exposure to interact with the industry and to groom their skills before they enter into the job market. This survey also provided them with learning opportunity about the overall process of executive opinion survey with the importance and benefits of such activity. BrightSpyre has always contributed in bridging the gap between academia & industry; coordination in World Economic Forum project was not the only effort but BrightSpyre has also introduced the concept of university specific job boards for the very first time in Pakistan.
