  Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) & Pakistan Software Houses Association (PASHA) are organizing the largest display of Pakistan ICT Industry under the auspices of Ministry of IT & Telecom at the 4th International Information & Communications Technology Exhibition and Conference (CONNECT) from 5-7 May 2009 at Karachi Expo Centre.
  Industry HC 
  To date a total of ten companies have been successfully approved by National ICT R&D fund under the project PSEB IT Apprenticeship program, with Teralight, Buraq and THK-Solutions as the three newly approved companies.
  Company Capability Development
  Under PSEB Information Security Initiative, PSEB has initiated ISO 27001 Lead Implementer Trainings. Proposals have been received. The trainings will be held in three cities.
  Facilitation
 

Thirty new IT companies were registered with PSEB in this reporting period with eighteen new call centres. Eighty three IT companies and fourteen call centres have renewed their registrations.

 

OSRC has conducted three days training workshops on Linux administration at Comsats Institute of Information technology Wah Cantt 25 and 27 March 2009, trained over forty five people and their whole Lab was migrated to Linux open source operating system.
