PSEB promotes the image of the Pakistan IT industry in key markets abroad, enables trade interaction with international parties, and facilitates the entry of multi-national development and support centres into Pakistan. In fiscal 06-07, PSEB sponsored participation of ninety four member companies in fourteen international tradeshows and delegations, sponsored eleven domestic conferences, developed joint action plans with five foreign governments or industry associations, participated in forty one TV interviews, eight radio interviews, forty two magazine interviews and articles, and has issued over ninety press releases. في السنة المالية 06-07 ، PSEB برعايه بمشاركه اربعة وتسعون عضوا في اربعة عشر شركات والوفود الدولية tradeshows ، برعايه احدى عشرة المؤتمرات المحلية ، ووضع خطط عمل مشتركة مع خمس حكومات اجنبية او رابطات الصناعة ، وشارك في المقابلات التلفزيونيه والاربعين واحدة ، ثماني مقابلات اذاعيه ، والأربعون مجلة اثنين من المقابلات والمقالات ، وأصدرت أكثر من تسعين الصحفيه.

In addition, four international promotional campaigns were run. وبالاضافة الى ذلك ، اربعة الدولي الحملات الترويجيه كانت تديرها. PSEB has launched on-line promotional campaigns featuring the Pakistan IT industry on NASDAQ.com. PSEB وقد اطلق على الخط الحملات الترويجيه التي تبرز باكستان على انها صناعة nasdaq.com. Two print promotional campaigns have appeared in CIO International, a leading IDG publication. اثنين طباعة الحملات الترويجيه التى ظهرت فى كبير موظفي المعلومات الدولية ، رائد IDG النشر.

After the success of the new mini-event initiative in UK and Ireland, similar mini-events are being organized in the USA from 16 – 25 January, 2008. بعد نجاح الجديدة المصغره الحدث مبادره في المملكه المتحدة وايرلندا ، مصغره مماثلة يجري تنظيم الاحداث في الولايات المتحدة في الفترة من 16 -- 25 كانون الثاني / يناير ، 2008. In the last fiscal year, 06-07 a nationwide census of IT companies was conducted, a report estimating total industry size was prepared, a four year strategic framework was formulated, and an inter-departmental committee was formulated to provide more accurate revenue figures. فى السنة المالية الماضية ، 06-07 الامة تعداد اجري شركات تكنولوجيا المعلومات ، تقريرا تقدير اجمالي حجم صناعة اعد ، ومدته أربع سنوات وتمت صياغه الاطار الاستراتيجي ، وعاملا مشتركا بين الادارات لجنة صياغه لتوفير أدق ارقام الايرادات.

PSEB plans to build IT Parks in different cities and currently operates over 750,000 square feet of Software Technology Parks (STP) in eleven buildings across the country. PSEB works with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) to increase the influx of quality graduates into the industry, facilitates matching of graduates with IT companies, provides on-going trainings and certifications to professionals, and undertakes research to benchmark IT professionals and graduates in the country. A list of additional call centre equipment and machinery has been forwarded to the Federal Board of Revenue through the Ministry of IT by PSEB for exemption of sales tax and levy of 5% custom duty. قائمة بعدد اضافي من مركز الدعوة والمعدات والآلات قد احيلت الى المجلس الاتحادي للالايرادات من خلال وزارة اليها PSEB للاعفاء من ضريبة المبيعات وضريبة 5 ٪ من الرسوم الجمركيه.

In the last fiscal year, 06-07, under PSEB-sponsored programs, one CMMi L5 rating, one CMMi L3 rating, one CMMi L2 rating, and one ISO 27001 certification were obtained. فى السنة المالية الماضية ، 06-07 ، في اطار البرامج التي ترعاها PSEB ، cmmi 15 تصنيف واحد ، واحد cmmi L3 التصنيف ، واحدة cmmi تصنيف مخزن L2 مؤقت ، وايزو 27001 واحد تم الحصول على الشهاده. Autoplus, a PSEB commissioned ERP for the Automotive Parts and Accessories industry, developed by Acrologix, was launched by the Federal Minister of IT, Dr. Abdullah Riar in Lahore on 17 December. The ERP for the Agricultural sector, being developed under a PSEB sponsored program by Pearl Solutions, has now entered the model unit implementation phase at three farms in Rawalpindi, Sadiqabad, and Sahiwal. تخطيط موارد المؤسسات للقطاع الزراعي ، والتي يجري وضعها في إطار برنامج برعايه PSEB قبل حلول بيرل ، وقد دخلت الآن مرحلة التنفيذ لوحدة نموذجية في ثلاث مزارع في روالبندي ، sadiqabad ، وsahiwal.
